Launch Monitor
How It Works
The launch monitor uses very low-powered microwave technology, and custom software which applies complex math algorithms which have been carefully calibrated for each particular system layout. The monitor is comprised of one self-contained solid state unit about the size of a large book. It is located behind the projection screen at ground level, which broadcasts toward the hitting area. This one unit collects and processes all shot data, sending it in concise form to the PC via a serial cable. This one small box represents the entire launch monitor system.
No Calibration
The biggest challenge with most indoor simulators is the frequent and often difficult calibration required. The internal system calibration is done prior to delivery, and no further calibration is necessary.

Software and Graphics
The indoor golf software is the most graphically advanced of all simulators produced today. It is the only simulator that fully applies 3D rendering technology to all graphical elements of every golf course. This is critical to accurate play. Only with 3D rendered objects can you achieve complete accuracy when you play near, around, or through trees, bushes, rocks, and other obstructions.
The physics engine used indoor accurately depicts the flight, bounce and roll of all types of shots, including collisions with trees, cart paths, side slopes, deep grass, wet ground, hard ground, etc.
